I ... don't know

   I'm feeling really unfulfilled by my job. I'm not in floods of tears like last year, but it's like ... I just don't care any more.

It has nothing remotely to do with art or design, I have to wash dishes and serve food all day because I can't cook any of the slightly more complicated dishes, it's like being the janitor of the catering industry - the work is unskilled, menial and mindless, as well as physically tiring. The kitchen is always so hot, and everything feels to pointless and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

People generally define themselves by their jobs now days. And this is not my definition -  my definition is my hobby and my University work. Everyone at work thinks that when I'm not there I just sleep and sit around watching TV. I am an art student - Art students are different, we draw, we design, we do something productive.
They just don't understand it because their job is what they are, and they don't seem to get that it is not what I am as well ...
